Ossiform® Presentation at LSI USA '24

Watch Ossiform®’s presentation from the Life Science Intelligence – Emerging Medtech Summit

Ossiform® attended LSI USA ’24 to present its bone printing solution and its plans for entering the U.S. market with the goal of advancing bone healing outcomes within orthopedic surgery and spinal fusion

Ossiform® intends to make its entry to the U.S. market and commence first clinical use with 3D printed ß-TCP wedges for orthopedic extremity surgery. Meanwhile, the company is developing the next generation of resorbable spinal fusion devices as well as Point of Care bone printing setups.

“For every indication, there is an ideal trade-off – a sweet spot – between the porosity, that enables good bone ingrowth and controls how fast the implant resorbs, and the biomechanical factors that ensure structural stability throughout the healing process. This is what we specialize in at Ossiform. Furthermore, what we want to do is to provide more size flexibility. We will provide surgeons with more size options to fit more patients, both small and large, and make totally metal-free solutions, that surgeons have confidence in both in the short and long term, reality” says Sales and Marketing Manager, Monica Wellejus
